Equi-trek Super Sonic horse box is brand new and available to hire for any length of time. It is easy and light to drive enabling you to travel with your horses in the knowledge that they are in the utmost comfort. There is also a camera to watch their every move whilst you’re on the move.

Air conditioning has been added for extra comfort and also a fan in the horse area, so no need for sweaty horses on your arrival.

There are cooking facilities and a sink, storage and a hanging area in the back of the horsebox which leads through by a separate door to the horse area. Tacking up is made easy and can even be done inside on those wet miserable days.

The cost to hire this lorry for self drive is as follows:

Per Week (Monday to Friday)	£395
Per Weekend (Saturday and Sunday)	£200

Deposit

At the time of booking a £99 booking fee is required this is deducted from the rental payment, at the time of collection a £750 Damage and Loss Deposit is required along with the rental costs. The £750 damage & loss deposit is returned in full as long as the vehicle is returned without any damage, of any kind.

Please be aware that any damage or breakages however caused to any fixtures or fittings, utensils or equipment will be charged at the full replacement cost.

Cancellation

If you need to cancel, you must give 2 days’ notice or more then the full deposit will be returned less £35 handling fee. If less than 2 days cancellation then the deposit is forfeited.

Regular Journeys

If you have a regular requirement for transport then we are happy to discuss your needs and quote for the work.

Restrictions

Due to insurance restriction you must hold a Full Clean British Driving Licence for at least 1 year licence must have B1 entitlement, be 25 years or older, have no criminal convictions relating to drink driving or drug abuse.

Smoking Policy

There is a no smoking policy in the lorry, any person caught or found to have been smoking in the lorry will be charged a £100 cleaning fee and will not be allowed to hire vehicles in the future.

The Super Sonic horsebox allows horse owners the opportunity to drive their horses, large or small in a compact yet economical and powerful horsebox.

With a gross maximum weight of the Super Sonic being 4000kg, it has a carrying capacity of 1500Kg and can be driven on a standard car licence with B1.

The horses travel rear facing between the axels giving the lowest possible centre of gravity for a safe and comfortable ride. The fully adjustable partition provides two stalls and the low wide ramp with safety loading doors helps encourage your horse to load and travel happily.

The Sonic has the added benefit of a tack/changing room which is totally separate from the horses and incorporates a cooking area with gas hob and sink, seat storage and two coat hooks. There is additional storage for rugs etc over the cab.

The Super Sonic is built on a brand new Peugeot 3500kg chassis fitted with the latest 3.0HDi diesel engine which conforms to the most recent Euro 4 anti-pollution standards producing 157bhp and 400Nm of torque. This super smooth engine together with 6-speed gearbox is extremely economical, effortless to drive and makes easy work of town traffic, hills and the open road.
